I didn't know what to do about the old, broken fountain that never worked for us but Frank knew what to do. He took me to a stone yard where I chose the stone to dress up the fountain and make the stepping stones that are throughout the yard. I chose "caramello" a shimmery brown & grey stone. Frank created the fountain from stones, cement and a lot of imagination, making a beautiful waterfall for us to enjoy.
The original fountain & BBQ before we bought the house in 2002.
Quicktime video of the new fountain and back yard.
Preparing the old fountain to build the new fountain over it. The Sago palm is the only original plant left in the backyard.
The old fountain is broken down and now Frank is building the pool beginning with the rebar foundation.
The pool is plumbed and formed and the rocks are layed.
Frank carefully placed each stone to form the back wall and waterfall ledge of the fountain.
Cement is added between the stones to keep them in place and cement in the pool.
Palm trees are added and the fountain is running now.
